Paper Candy

Notes from the Artist:
It feels so good to be remembered on your birthday. Why not start a collection of birthdays and send a handmade card to your friends and family. I love receiving handmade cards just as much as I love creating them.

Playin' with Paper

Notes from the Artist:
Theres just something about a handmade card that makes you smile. The extra added touch just seems to mean that much more - regardless if its a note to say happy birthday or hello or "yadda yadda yadda". I'm a crafter at heart and enjoy paper, beads, fabrics, paints.. anything that I can get my hands on. I love that Etsy has rekindled my passion to "create" and share with others.

Modern Card

Notes from the Artist:
Inspiration for my cards comes from my friends and family. I name a lot of my cards after them. I love simplistic and modern designs, but I try to design a range of cards to suit everyones taste.

Oh Crop

Notes from the Artist:
I like this card because I was able to use different techniques and the machine stitching gives it more flavor. Indeed a sewing machine serves plenty of uses. Come and drop by my shop for more machine-stitched madness :)

Moth to Flame

Notes from the Artist:
I thought these cards, designed with the bright graphics from my banner, would make a great first listing for my new paper shop.

These versatile, blank notecards are made from a beautiful heavyweight cardstock with a black, column texture on the outside and a smooth cream finish on the inside for writing. The corners are rounded at the top and bottom.

The bright designs are printed on semigloss photo paper using an archival printer, framed with another piece of the cardstock reversed to the cream and secured to the front of each card. The designs are centered on the cards so they may be used either horizontally or vertically.

katydid designs

Notes from the Artist:
My cards are prints of my original watercolor paintings. I like to make my art functional-not just something that hangs on the wall! My subject matter is usually sweet treats or whimsical images like birds and cute dresses. Afterall, my tagline says my shop is for the sweets and whimsey enthusiast!

Chromatica

Notes from the Artist:
My work is generally inspired by nature or anything Japanese. I did a lot of still-life paintings growing up, and so anything natural/ organic still appeals to me. I'm also continuously exploring different styles and medium, as evident by the range of cards on my site!

A Scrappy Design

Notes from the Artist:
I chose this item because it is one of my signature items that I sell. Everyone could use a gift tag to go along with their card, right?
I love making cards and tags because anyone can go to a retail store and pick up a card but handmade cards and tags are much more personal and special. . . they become keepsakes, just like a photograph or scrapbook.

Cards by Patzee

Notes from the Artist:
One of my more unusual cards with lots to look at. I think it really makes you think!

Daisy Chainn

Notes from the Artist:
These simple but bright flower cards were sewn by hand. I like to use a variety of materials on my cards such as ribbon, paint, tape, beads and buttons. I always like to have an idea before I sit down to make a card and I find the results are better when I know what I want to make. I hope you enjoy my cards and tags!

Mielle Designs

Notes from the Artist:
The "Kristin" design seen here is light, pretty and fun which makes sending AND receiving it simply delightful.

Lexie Sullivan

Notes from the Artist:
I love simplicity and bright colors. My inspiration comes from life’s experiences, pop-culture, abstract expressionism and organic forms in nature. I still believe in the personal touch of handwriting a note and the joy it creates when someone opens the envelope.

lizzycub

Notes from the Artist:
This was my first set of 'tea bag fold' cards I have made and think they look ace. They are all blank so they are perfect for all occasions including birthdays, thankyou's etc. I am happy to add messages to the cards if needed and can also make them in different colours if required

Melismatic

Notes from the Artist:
I'm excited about the opportunity to represent Southeast Louisiana through my cards – but in a distinctly modern way. This card is the first in what I hope will be a long series of architectural vector drawings combined with stamp art. However, I'm inspired by so many things in my day-to-day life that I don't think I'll stick to one thing for long.

Red Ruby on Fire

Notes from the Artist:
These cards and matching envelopes are sold in their digital form and to be printed by buyer. I'm moving towards creating more digital items to avoid any problems with postage and the cost of sending it all the way from Malaysia. I have to admit I really miss using my paper cutter! Check out my blog at www.redrubyonfire.blog.com

Quill & Plume

Notes from the Artist:
I have always been frustrated by the extremes from big card companies. Their designs seemed to be either pretty or fun, but never both. I didn't want to choose between sappy and impractical. That's why I have tried to bridge that gap myself - to prove that you can be quirky and polite at the same time, that ladylike and funky are not mutually exclusive.

Scrapbook Heaven

Notes from the Artist:
I've been 'creating' things for over 20 years now, but it's been card making that has stuck the longest. I love creating a card for that special person, because a card is so meaningful.

Remember Me

Notes from the Artist:
"Spread Love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier" ~ Mother Teresa. My goal is to bring a little joy into your life ~ simple pleasures (& treasures) that remind you that "Life is Beautiful". Vintage style collage cards designed to uplift, comfort & encourage.

Ruthie's Girl Designs

Notes from the Artist:
I love special occasions and baby showers are on the top of my list. This will always be my favorite invitation, because its creation is what inspired me to start my own business. I think baby shower invitations should look and feel just as special as the new life they are celebrating. All of my baby shower invitations are versitile; they can be ordered as invitations, birth announcements, and when ordered as a single card, a congradulatory greeting. Although baby showers are my first love, I also create bridal shower invitations, wedding invitations, and handcrafted notecards.

Piece of Scrap

Notes from the Artist:
I love bright, happy colors and have really been gravitating toward them lately in all of my work. As I don't always have large chunks of time to sit down and devote to card-making, I like to make sets of mini-cards quite often. They're great to stick in with customer's packages, kids lunchboxes, etc.

Polka Dot Moon

Notes from the Artist:
It brings me such joy coming up with something fun, pretty, or whimsical from a piece of paper. I've always enjoyed art and papercrafting has become one of my favorites! Please check out my shop as I continue to fill it with more creations.

petite pear paperie

Notes from the Artist:
My shop carries an ensemble of paper merchandise influenced by vintage and European style. I enjoy blending my passion for fabulous papers, ribbon, images, and calligraphy to create petite works of art.

obsidiankitten

Notes from the Artist:
I'm very inspired by the odd or unusual found object. I like juxtapositions of old and unusual things (like the vintage children's storybook pictures or Godzilla film stills) with the Japanese monsters and toys. I enjoy seeing the new monsters intrude into the old tales, as it were. Some of my other cards feature photos from our farm; I see the same oddity in our farm critters--for example, I can't get over the fact that chickens look like little feathered dinosaurs and llamas like some sort of strangely prehistoric muppets.

P.Berge Photography

Notes from the Artist:
I started selling on Etsy not too long ago and only offered photographic prints, when another Etsy member suggested that I start offering greeting cards. These cards are the perfect combination of the 2. Use them as greeting cards and when you are done they can be easily framed and displayed as photographs.

Paper Traders

Notes from the Artist:
I started scrapbooking several years ago and at that time, actually told someone I wouldn't start making cards because I was going to focus on my books and wouldn't have time to make cards. Now I find that it is so satisfying to be able to finish something quickly and that people get so much enjoyment from, that I spend most of time making cards (and am very behind on my scrapbooks)!

Pan's Greeting Cards

Notes from the Artist:
This is one of my favorite cards. I love the brightness of the orange and teal together. The design was created using glitter stickers that compliment the paper colors perfectly. It's great for any occasion, a birthday, a simple hello, or anything you want.

PAPERjoye

Notes from the Artist:
PAPERjoye greetings is my creative laboratory for experimenting with the composition of paper, color texture, and text. My work started with the design of custom invitations for my family members and has evolved into working with the medium of greeting cards. I think of my current greeting cards as tiny paper universes of humore and cuteness that are also small works of art. PAPERjoye greeting cards use fine quality paper products to give the best impression to their recipient and spread joy through the mail! My custom invitations can be described as a fusion of sophisticated graphics and text with a hand-made aesthetic.

Paper and Cloth

Notes from the Artist: I love mixing paper with fabric and other elements to produce cards that are not only great to send but also to keep as works of art. All my work is customizable and perfect for most occasions.

noteriety press

Notes from the Artist:
In addition to my own original artowork, I like to use antique dies that I find in various places. This chicken was such a cute illustration I had to use it for some flat notecards. I think a short note written on one of these cards would really brighten up someone's day! It's printed on my favorite 100% cotton, art quality paper and paired with a Kraft colored envelope.

Moon Moth Press

Notes from the Artist:
This is what happens when we combine our love of old books and the layering of ephemera and decorative papers: a page, an illustration, a scrap, and the torn edges of tissues, loktas, unryus, and marbles. One-of-a-kind cards for all occasions! Despite our similarities, the two of us have our separate idiosyncrasies. She has a passion for symmetry; he has a passion for intricate cut-outs. If you’re wondering what happens to the book covers, check out our “resurrected” journals, albums, and ledgers.
