1. Tell us about you and your shop.
My name is Terri Moore. I live in Denver, CO. I have been married to my husband Rich for over 15 years and we have an 11 yr old daughter Emilia who I home school. We also have 2 fur kids. Sophie a 4 yr old black lab mix and Lily a 3 year old Westie. I have been doing nails out of my home for over 15 years now specializing in hand painted nail art. I also like to knit, crochet, quilt, cook/bake, watch reality TV and read biographies about famous people.
I sell hand stamped cards, boxes, bags journals and more in my Etsy shop Terrbear37 /Cards&Moore By Terri.
2. How did you get started in your craft?
I got started stamping over 4 ½ years ago when an online friend of mine sent me some Close To My Heart Acrylic stamps to try. Shortly after that I found The Technique junkies and I was hooked. A few months later my husband created a website for me to try and sell my work from but right after that I found out I could not sell the things I made with the stamps I was using through the internet because of their policies. I stopped using that company's stamps and started using only true angle companies stamps in my work after that. About a year later I started my Etsy shop.
3. What tool can you not live without?
That would probably be my heat gun. I love to emboss!
4. What inspires you?
Bright colors! Other stampers blogs. Catalogs. Things around me.
5. Name one favorite item from your store.

Snow One Like You giveaway from KillamCreative

A little about the artist: I've been a paper-piecing card maker for a few years, and just recently delved into coloring digital stamps. I use a variety of mediums on my cards, including acrylic paint and Prismacolor pencils - with and without the help of Odorless Mineral Spirits, depending on the effect I want. I love layering papers and adding loads of embellishments, from soft laces to bright shiny metals. My cards are 1/4" to 1/2" thick, and I always make coordinating envelope boxes.
For one entry, visit my Etsy shop (KillamCreative) and comment here to tell me which card is your favorite. :)
Special bonus for Etsy Greetings Team Blog readers only! If you purchase from my shop by midnight EST Wednesday December 18 *and* mention the Etsy Greetings Blog, I will give you free First Class shipping on your order. This isn't mentioned anywhere at my shop - it's just a "Thank You" to readers of this blog.

Friday Feature: KittyKatKards
1. Tell us about you and your shop.
Hi, everyone! ::waves:: My name is Tina, 26, born and raised in Maryland, USA. My day job is at a public health non-profit organization.
During my free time you can find me working on my Etsy shop (KittyKatKards), wandering around the craft store, sweating at spin class, or baking all kinds of goodies.
KittyKatKards features mainly cards with origami on them, and occasionally, I sprinkle the shop with origami embellishments and stamped cards.
2. How did you get started in your craft?
I have folded origami since I was a kid. My mom taught me how to make samurai hats out of newspaper and then turn the hats into goldfish.
I only recently got into this homemade card kick seriously, and I thought that adding origami to the front of the card would add an interesting and eye-catching 3D effect. I started KittyKatKards in February 2008 as a creative outlet; the shop gives me a wonderful opportunity to share my creations with others.
3. What tool can you not live without?
My all-time favorite tool has got to be my guillotine paper cutter. The tool allows me to cut my scrapbook paper, origami paper, and cardstock quickly and efficiently. The ruler and guidelines help me cut the paper to exactly the right size.
4. What inspires you?
Color and life events are the biggest inspirations for me. I really enjoy pairing up different colors and patterns. The scrapbook paper aisle is my favorite section of the craft store. I’m like a kid in a candy store there!
As an example of life events inspiring me, going to see Twilight Saga movie, New Moon, inspired me to make some Twilight themed origami dress cards.

Friday Feature: Curious Gravy
1. Tell us about you and your shop.
My name is Jenn and I am Curious Gravy. Gravy because it is one of my many nicknames and curious because it is a quality that I value and strive to embody. If I am not playing in the studio chances are that I'll be in the kitchen. I really enjoy cooking and I like challenges, so I try cooking new things all the time. I also do a lot of reading, I like to travel and I enjoy spending time in nature. I love to shop, I practice yoga, and most importantly I enjoy spending time with my silly husband, my amazing friends and loving family.
2. How did you get started in your craft?
Curious Gravy cards started in November of 2008 when I thought it would be fun to make Holiday cards to send out to friends and family. I had done a lot of print making in art school but had never worked with linoleum blocks so I thought I would give them a try. Once I got the hang of it, I discovered that I enjoy the act of carving the linoleum most - it's almost like meditation. I really look forward to spending an afternoon in the studio, I usually listen to music or watch congressional hearings on cspan.org. My Etsy shop is where all of my best work ends up.
3. What tool can you not live without?
There aren't too many things I can't live without - there's always more than one way to do something, and while I appreciate many of my tools the only thing I don't think I could live with out would be my comfortable/ergonomic/adjustable desk chair. I know, I know, it's silly - but if you've ever spent time sitting in a hard cushion-less chair for days on end you'll be nodding your head in agreement with me.
4. What inspires you?
I am inspired everyday by the things around me - I see, hear and smell beauty everywhere I go. In trees, clouds, bodies of water, color, pattern, kindness, complexity, maps, texture, passion fruit, wallpaper, machinery, fashion, babies, laughter, sunshine, organization... I could go on.
5. Name one favorite item from your store

My favorite item changes all the time - I guess I am just fickle. Right now it's the Ribbon Candy Card in Candy Cane Red. I like that it can be used for the holidays but that it's not specific to any holiday.
