Notes from the Artist:
As long as I can remember, I have enjoyed going to the mailbox to retrieve the day’s post. I recall my letter writing beginning in the fourth grade with a pen-pal from New York. Notes in class and love-letters were always fun throughout school. While away at college, I frequently wrote letters back home to family and friends. Now, I especially enjoy writing those loved ones who are in different parts of the country.

I am afraid that letter-writing is becoming a lost art-in fact the practice of writing personal letters is diminishing to such an extent that they threaten to become extinct! While e-mail has certainly made keeping in touch more convenient, it will never replace the thought and time put into a penned note. A hand-written note means that someone has put time and effort into crafting a personal message to you,

Hand-written gestures have always served as a source of encouragement to my spirit. It is those simple, quiet, and humble, behind the scenes, little deeds, and words of kindness that make a POWERFUL impact! In the Bible, Paul was constantly writing letters to the congregations that they might gain a sense of encouragement. His letters, like the ones we all love to receive, are the ones that carry so much of the writer’s personality that he seems to be sitting beside us and chatting with us.

I hope you gain as much enjoyment from using my papers as I did designing and hand-crafting each one.
