The Giveaway:
This simple and elegant contemporary style card really captures the eye. The giraffe has been hand drawn and hand cut and then glued onto the card. The hair on the giraffe feels very real and is not glued. The leaves that the giraffe is eating is only partly glued adding some dimension.
Card measures 3 6/8 X 5 7/8 X 4 3/8 X 6 2/8 inches and is left blank for your personal note and comes with a coordinating envelope. Postal services may charge an extra fee for this odd-shaped envelope.
MATERIALS USED
BASE: 80 pound acid-free, lignin-free paper
DRAWING PAPER: 20 pound acid-free, lignin-free white paper
INK: archival quality, acid-free, waterproof and fade proof black pigment ink
GLUE: acid-free, non-toxic glue

Trapezoid Art has some of the most original cards I have seen.
I just love the solid background showing off the awesome illustration. I would not have the patience for the intricate cutwork needed to give dimension to the flat pieces.
