Collective Elements

Notes from the Artist:
Your notes about the card you selected or your work in general - I'm a big fan of color and tend to use healthy doses of it in all my projects. When designing this card, the paper was very busy but it still had an elegant feel so I wanted to keep the embellishments simple. "Sheer Bliss" describes it perfectly.

Spotbear

Notes from the Artist:
Inspired by a vintage cookie jar, this design was created by printing a hand-carved linoleum block. I love the handcrafted charm created by this technique!
A great card to give to a guy friend or a girl friend...perfect to stockpile for those last minute gifts.

Orange Cat Art

Notes from the Artist:
It's summer, so that means beach photos! I met this cool Laughing Gull on the ferry from Cape Hatteras to Ocracoke Island a few weeks ago. If you're a beach fan, be sure to check out my other coastal-themed notecard collections!

paper doll whimsies

Notes from the Artist:
I love all things vintage and love making cards from my vast collection of antique photos. This card in particular is one of my favorites because I love the expression of wide eyed innocence on this babys face. this was made from a German CDV card I had aquired quite some time ago. In my shop, you can find a vintage card for any occasion.

Orange Theory

Notes from the Artist:
I love this card because it is simple and elegant. Sometimes the most beautiful creations are also the simplest. With wedding season upon us, I wanted to create something elegant that could be used for almost any wedding.

Notes from the Artist:
These are cupcake toppers I purchased from another Etsy seller, The Wonderful Secret, and spent a whole afternoon playing with them. I think these note cards would be perfect for a hip bride to use for thank you notes.

a-ieK paper goods & design

Notes from the Artist:
The "Stitches" notecard set is simple in form, its color soft and its layout leaves much to the imagination. When I think about at these cards I tend to think about a range of things: from the principles art, human interaction, the spring season (that we totally missed this year) to life’s subtleness.

JennieRose Designs

Notes from the Artist:
Need to wish friends or family members happy birthday? This set of two top-folding cards would do the trick! I've embellished each card with five punched flowers and added a little "bling" to each one. I adhered the flowers to the cards with pop dots, giving them each a little bit of height. Although most of my cards, including these ones, are blank inside, I am happy to stamp a special sentiment inside the cards. All you have to do is request the sentiment in the message to seller during checkout.

Fahshefolds

Notes from the Artist:
This is a cheerful card featuring an origami ring made of multi-colored washi paper. The confetti imbedded cardstock makes it interesting especially when you add your sentiments, giving it an added touch. A blank interior makes this card suitable for any occasion.

CardsByJenna

Notes from the Artist:
Crafting unique cards out of paper is my favorite past time. This adorable "...bee thanking you..." card is my favorite creation and is a one of kind design handstamped in black ink and colored in using watercolor pens. Recently I have added a new element to my card making, the glue pen and glitter combonation! In this card the bouquet of flowers is lightly dusted with iridescent glitter to add the perfect thank you sparkle.

All my cards are blank inside, come with coordinating envelopes, and measure approximately 4 x 5.5 inches. Rarely do I create the same design more than once so if you see something you like put it in your shopping cart. Be sure to check my shop often! I am adding new creations all the time.

Heartspeak

Notes from the Artist:
Ever since I read this quote from Peter Pan a few years ago I've been planning this card. I wasn't able to make it a reality until I found just the right digital vintage fairy images on etsy. This card, in particular, represents my style in that it combines the technical/digital with a wonderful literary quote and hand-made details like the edging of the papers in gold leaf pen. The inside of the card reads: "Wishing you and your baby a life filled with laughter and magic!"

Thanks for looking!

All of my cards are painted by hand, with watercolor. I love that each card is a one of a kind... They may look similar, but no two will ever be the same!

GreenerMe Invitations

Notes from the Artist:
I love using paper as a way to express an event's theme. The way each sheet is placed, the format of the text, the colors.. When an invitee opens their invite they immediately know what to expect. Throwing "handmade" into the mix really adds a personal touch that cannot be mimicked by corporate companies.

Zo-Be Designs

Notes from the Artist:
caelum (ky-lum) is Latin for 'of the stars'. It's also the name of a minor constellation.

I got into scrapbooking just after my daughter was born. It's all my mom's fault. She decided to give it a try and I ended up getting hooked. I just recently started making cards and love experimenting with different techniques. My shop is named after my kids Zoey and Gabe. My daughter loves to make "cards" too, which usually consist of lots of glue and lots of rubber stamping. I'm teaching her well.

Card Goddess

Notes from the Artist:
For men, I try to keep my cards simple. This classic black and white card does just that. A dimensional soccer ball and a "Happy Father's Day" sentiment is all it takes to wish Dad a very Happy Father's Day!

PulpArt

Notes from the Artist:
I love how these pressed Bridal Wreath (Spiraea) look like a gorgeous bouquet of white flowers. I grow the botanicals that adorn my cards, pick them at their height of color and press them for many weeks before mounting them onto my handmade paper, then onto textured card stock. I make my handmade paper by recycling all kinds of high-quality paper from canceled checks to junk mail. I love that I am making beautiful cards from something that would have ended up in a landfill.

This listing is for a pack of five Bridal Wreath cards with a pistachio green border paper. Dill weed in the handmade paper adds texture and color, and sets off the beauty of the Bridal Wreath. Each card is one-of-a-kind and many people buy a group of cards and frame them together. EVERYTHING can be customized to your liking and I am happy to post photos so you can see before you buy.

Let’s see Hallmark do that for the same price!

These cards are perfect for all occasions, though I do have a lot of brides choosing them for their invitations and thank you notes. Cards are a standard A2 notecard size (5 1/2" by 4 1/4") and come with matching envelopes. Each blank card is individually packaged in an acid-free plastic envelope with a separate insert describing my process. I'd be happy to tie up the package of cards with raffia so it's ready for gift-giving.

Designs des Troy

Notes from the Artist:
We are a husband-and-wife graphic design studio based in San Francisco. Mostly we focus on custom print design, including wedding invitations, but we also have been getting into handprinting cards. We strive to make modern, balanced designs that will make people smile.

This congratulations card was printed on our print gocco with a tight grid of metallic silver dots on the front and back that is interrupted by floral blooms and lovely script. We think the card is modern, sophisticated and fun, and could work equally well for a graduate as for an expectant mom.

MODERNCARD

Notes from the Artist:
Moderncard is where my paper obsession meets my creative side. I consider myself a “paper chef” of sorts, trying to blend the perfect combination of papers and embellishments to create a well balanced card. Inspired by design magazines and the latest fashion trends, each card is designed and assembled by me.

This particular card set (named Kala) is made with assorted handmade papers. They are perfect for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, thank you notes or any occasion.

Paper Menagerie

Notes from the Artist:
I'm inspired by a mix of things, including many animals (hence my shop name, Paper Menagerie). Each card in my line uses vintage book illustrations which I alter digitally and then print by hand on my Gocco. The "Hello, Chickadee" design was inspired by my Vermont childhood, spent camping by cool mountain lakes.

Notes from the Artist:
Notecards are the perfect gift and with the end of the school year coming up ... to give as teacher's gifts. I've always liked these colors together. I think they give an elegant feel to a project.
