Miscelena Handmade Papercrafts

Notes from the Artist:
Born into a family full of crafty (in the best sense!) women, my mother taught me the value of a hand-written greeting when I was barely able to form the letters. There's no better time to share the love than Valentine's Day - but this note card set is suitable for sharing your affectionate wishes all year long as well!

winemakerssister

Notes from the Artist:
I love to try out all sorts of different things but patchwork note cards are one of the mainstays of my shop. Sewing on paper is one of my favorite techniques, and putting together the patchwork cards allow me to play with color, pattern, and texture. These cards are perfect for Valentine notes, but also are great for anniversaries, Mother's Day, or as a little framed piece of handmade art.

GOLLYG

Notes from the Artist:
Behind the works of gollyg is a small town girly girl (and her darling dachshund) living in an inner-ring suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. Having a love for anything vintage, whimsical, feminine, and funky, I enjoy designing fun and eclectic pieces. I hope you adore everything as much as I adore making it.

BlueDogPapers

Notes from the Artist:
For some reason, my creations don’t seem complete until they have some kind of 3-dimensional aspect to them, and when I saw this idea I knew I had to try and recreate a mailbox of my own for Valentine’s Day – the perfect time to ‘send’ your love! I like to see what a simple piece of paper and some embellishments can become. I also like to see people’s reaction when they are impressed with the craftsmanship that goes into my cards and creations. The love I have in creating comes through and makes the gift special and heart-felt.

Spring is right around the corner, and there are already flowers on my craft desk! The pop-up style featured here is a favorite of mine, as the flower really does open up like a bloom.

MaJentaDesigns

Notes from the Artist:
This was taken inside the Louvre Museum in Paris, France. This is one of my favorite statues, its of "Psyche & Cupid", the legendary tale of how Psyche's beauty was drawing more attention than the Goddess Venus, so Venus sets out to punish Psyche. Venus orders her son, Cupid, to make Psyche fall in love with the ugliest man on earth. However, Cupid ends up falling in love with Psyche, which then causes lots of drama and almost losing each other...but in the end, they end up finding each other again, giving a message that love will always triumph in the end. This photo has Sepia tones and a special soft glow effect so that the focus is just on the two lover's embrace. This card is great for Valentines Day for anybody who loves fine art, photography, travel, or a great love story (or anybody looking for a card that isnt pink, red, or with hearts).

This is a fun set perfect for gift giving or saying Thank you. I love cute little creatures and they always find their way into my work. Little ladybugs and butterflies are always enchanting.

Fioretta Designs

Notes from the Artist:
Paper is one of my greatest loves, and often I will spend hours browsing through different prints and patterns. When I saw this particular paper, I knew I had to use it on one of my cards. Seems just right for Valentine's Day (or any other day!) - the sweet little bird pairs so well with the tiny die-cut heart.

Junkyarddoll

Notes from the Artist:
For me, the joy in cards is re-introducing a worthy image to the world. I delight in tying together disparate items to draw a subtle visual comparison or shock by glittering up a biology text illustration of the female reproductive organs. I search vintage books of all types and stripes to find a sweet or provocative or
strange or touching image to be my muse. Many of these pictures have been waiting patiently between the covers of a book for 50, 60, even 75 years and, having matured gracefully, they are now MY version of fine wine.

Carlin Card Creations

Notes from the Artist:
One thing is for sure…I love to make cards! But the kind I make varies from day to day. Some days I am a rubber stamp artist. Other days I am a paper artist. And quite often, I like to combine the two. For this card I have used a floral rubber stamp, watercolor crayons, pattern paper, ribbon, and a heartfelt sentiment. This is the type of card that you can expect to find in my shop. Put a little love in an envelope and send it off to someone you care about. Nothing beats the feeling of finding a handmade card in your mailbox!

Notes from the Artist:
I am inspired by life, loving family, treasured friends, loyal companions, beautiful thoughts, special memories, nature and color. My designs are expressions of art from my heart and reflect my vision of the world, as it should be.

Pattiwacks

Notes from the Artist:
First and foremost I must say that I am blessed abundantly. I am a wife, mother, and grandmother - all of whom support me wholeheartedly. Then added to this I have been given this passion to create. For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed making things with my hands. I am awed by the beauty the Creator has placed me in the midst of, and I have to honor Him by portraying it in my art, my jewelry, and note cards.
I'd love to have you stop by my shop sometime!

Notes from the Artist:
I liked making this card as it reminds me of being in a cabin in the woods with a nice fire to keep us warm enjoying each others company.

happy day studio

Notes from the Artist:
I love the idea of giving handmade art. Each card I make is painted by hand using my original designs. I draw them in pencil, paint with watercolor, and outline in black ink. My favorite part of the process is adding eyes or a face to the image and watching it come to life :)

stampingsinger

Notes from the Artist:
Valentines day is a very special time of year. It's a time we can tell someone how much we really love them. I hope we do it every day of the year. But, this day is set aside for us to do something special. What better way to tell that person they are very special and loved. I love to make cards for people to send to others. It's like Christmas when someone goes to the mail box and receives a special card from you. I use many techniques and embellishments on my cards. I love to make them very dimensional. I also emboss, glitter and glaze.

Cardwear

Notes from the Artist:
I enjoy using fabric and various ribbons and trims to make my cards. Some are hand stamped or include additional embellishments. The possibilities always seem endless! This particular card is made with pink embroidered fabric and is hand stamped for Valentine's Day. It would make a sweet Valentine for someone you love.

BBesigns

Notes from the Artist:
The bee design has become the trademark of my work. I begin my cards by painting small watercolors and embellishing them with flowers, rhinestones, bows etc. I then create a hand made paper that complements the design using recycled paper and embellishments. I combine the two and mount on a blank card. All of my cards can be personalized. This card can be used for any occasion Birthday, Anniversary, thank you or just to say hello

Beadkiss

Notes from the Artist:
I've loved playing with paper since I was a child. It started with origami (I'm half Japanese). When first opening my shop at Etsy, my intention was to sell only my jewelry. I still loved making cards, but I didn't know if there would be any interest. About a year ago, I decided to list a few heart iris fold cards very similar to this one. To my thrill, they sold VERY quickly! And the rest is history . . .

GreenerMe Casuals

Notes from the Artist:
I love the feel of paper, and always enjoyed being crafty as a kid.
After making Thank You cards post-Christmas one year, the light bulb
went off and I just couldn't stop cutting and glueing! Knowing people
are out there that feel the same way, with the same enthusiasm, keeps
me striving to continue on. And when I get that notification of a
sale, it's even more of an honor knowing that people actually like MY
creations and enthusiasm.

Notes from the Artist:
This card is a good example of what I lean to. Simple messages with a lot of layers of beauty.
